Errol Fillerup

FEBRUARY 1, 1944 – SEPTEMBER 12, 2019

Errol K. Fillerup, age 75, passed away peacefully after a short illness on September 12, 2019 in Murray, Utah after a lifetime of living “his way”. He was born to Clesson J and Veda R. Fillerup on February 1, 1944 in Jensen, Utah. He attended school in Salt Lake and graduated from South High School. Several years after graduation, Errol was hired by Western Electric as an installer and later retired from the same company.

Errol had a passion for fast, classy cars, especially Corvettes. He owned many, many cars and was always looking for a deal he ‘couldn’t pass up’. He also loved and cherished the animals he owned, both dogs and cats.

Errol is survived by his siblings; TJ (Nancy) Mt Pleasant, UT, Merilyn Bishcoff Spokane, WA, Myrna (Dick) Olsen Kaysville, UT, Deloy (Karen) Carlsbad, CA, Nolan Savannah, GA, and many nieces and nephews.

Errol was preceded in death by two sisters; Marlene Price and Valena Fillerup. His parents also preceded him in death.

Errol will be honored at a private family graveside service. We are grateful to his roommate who also became his friend and not only helped him in so many ways but also watched out for him. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
