Fred Anthony Richeda was born on April 24, 1944 to Marcell and Domiana Richeda in Salt Lake City.
Fred graduated from South High School in 1962. In his senior year, he was Senior Class President and valedictorian of his class. He was an avid baseball player and was on the All-Star Team. Fred was one of the first to receive the Sterling Scholar Award. He attended the University of Utah for a year and graduated from Creighton University, School of Dentistry. 
Fred had a successful dental practice in St. Louis, Missouri for over 20 years. He fought Parkinson's Disease for many years. He loved to fish, travel and do crossword puzzles. Fred is a veteran and served in the U.S. Army
Fred is survived by his wife, Dot, Son: Miles (Dianne) Asato, Daughter: Christine Asato, Son: Marvin (Deborah) Asato. He has 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Sister JoAnne (Paul) Maxwell, and their 2 sons, Gordon (Brandy) and Marcell.
The family would like to thank the staff in the Special Care Unit at St. Joseph's Villa for their care of Fred for the last 2 years as well as OneCare Hospice for making his final days comfortable.
