Sharon Schuif (Jurek)

July 31, 1944 ~ July 8, 2018

Sharon "Chere" Anita Jurek passed away peacefully with her family by her side.

She was born to Pieter and Hertha Schuif of Salt Lake City. She attended South High school and worked at Hill AFB for 28 years.

She married Gordon Bostock and adopted his three children: Jenny Bostock of ldaho; Greg (Glenda) Bostock of Louisiana; Randall (Dina) Bostock of ldaho; and they had one son: Richard (Shauna) Bostock of Syracuse, Utah.

After their brief marriage, she met and married Robert Jurek of Chicago, lllinois, in 1986. They blended their families, adding Walter (Tammie) Jurek of Texas; Julie (Eric) Dale of Virginia; Margaret Jurek of Colorado; and Karl (Catherine) Jurek of Murray, Utah. Together they have 22 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren.

They loved to travel, exploring six of seven continents and enjoyed the scenes and people of the world.

Chere was a member of the LDS church and volunteered at elementary schools and hospitals. She loved helping people and enjoyed gathering with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Myers Mortuary at 5867 S. 1900 W., in Roy, UT, on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 11 a.m. Friends and family are welcome to join us prior to the services from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
