Allen L. Tuft (Teacher)

After a wonderful life, our loving husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, brother and friend left this earthly life on Sunday, September 1, 2002.

Allen was born in Ioka, Utah to Roy and Lora Lisonbee Tuft on November 11, 1914.

He was a gifted educator, having received his B.S. from BYU and his M.S. from the U of U.

After years of teaching high school math and science, he became the supervisor of secondary math and science for the Davis County School Dist.

Allen married Louise Sorenson on September 18, 1937.

They are the parents of three children.

He loved the outdoors especially in the fall of the year.

He is survived by his wife Louise, his son, Allen, Jr (Susie), his daughters, Nadeane (Jim) Nielsen and Tammie (Chris) Tebbs,

eight grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by two brothers, a sister, and Bill and Ruth Johnson.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters, and a granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 6, 2002 at 12:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street.

Friends may call on Thursday, September 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and also on Friday prior to services from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.

Burial will follow in the Lake View Cemetery.
