Dan Clift

Dan Clift

Daniel “Danny” Francis Clift, age 75, from West Valley City, Utah. Born December 16, 1943. Our dear sweet Danny passed away peacefully at home with his beloved wife by his side on Wednesday, March 13, 2019.

Dan married the love of his life, Terry Peterson, on September 1, 1967 in the Salt Lake Temple for all eternity. The love Dan and Terry shared, people envied. Dan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved his Savior with all of his heart. Dan lived life to the fullest. Even after being paralyzed at the age of 17, nothing seemed to slow him down. He loved tennis, swimming, and being on the first wheelchair basketball team. Despite his trials and pain, his strength and courage was shown throughout his life and has inspired us all.

One of the main loves of his life was his family. He has four amazing children, 11 grandchildren, and one great-grandson. He loved spending time with them and enjoyed each of them in their own separate ways. Dan’s smile was infectious and lit up a room and made you feel like family. What a wonderful man! We simply want to say “until we meet again.”

“My father didn’t tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it.” -Clarence Budington Kelland
