Darla Jean Rosenlof Judd, born August 2nd, 1943, passed away peacefully on August 27th, 2015. She was born in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Donna Christensen and Wallis Parley Rosenlof. She married Denny K. Judd on April 12th, 1982.
Known for her genuine personality, flare for life and unwavering strength, she found great joy in her work and was most content and happy when surrounded by her family and friends. Darla achieved much success in her forty-one year career in the trucking industry where she retired as a District Sales Manager at Priority Freightline. She touched many lives with her generosity and contributions as a volunteer for such causes as the SIDS Association and Hospice Home Care. She leaves behind a strong legacy of love and many fond memories.
Darla was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Shannon Burnside and Patsy Hancock. She is survived by her husband, Denny Judd, South Jordan; her two sisters, Elva Orton, Centerville, Tamera Solis, Holladay, her sons: Michael Patience, Sandy, Shawn Judd, Kearns; her daughters, Kandace van Heel, Draper, and Deanna Erickson, Magna, Nicole Judd, West Valley and her fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Darla will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, UT, where a viewing will be held from 1:00 to 2:45 p.m. prior to the services.
